You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction to use this site and place orders.

3. Account Responsibilities

If you create an account on our website, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Orders and Payments

A binding contract is formed when you receive an order confirmation email from us. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order prior to confirmation, including in cases of pricing errors, stock issues, or suspected fraud.

All prices are listed in [currency] and may be subject to VAT or other applicable taxes, which will be displayed at checkout.

You are responsible for ensuring that your order and delivery details are accurate at the time of purchase. As all products are made-to-order, changes or cancellations after confirmation may not be possible.

All payments are processed securely through Shopify and its integrated payment providers. We do not store your payment information.

5. Product Fulfillment

All products are made-to-order and fulfilled by Gelato, our third-party print-on-demand partner. Prints are produced on museum-quality matte paper and shipped unframed.

As items are printed specifically for each order, processing and delivery times may vary depending on your location. We do not hold inventory, and fulfillment begins only after payment confirmation.

We are committed to ensuring high-quality standards but cannot guarantee exact color matching or delivery timelines due to the nature of third-party fulfillment.

6. Shipping

We ship worldwide using trusted logistics partners through our fulfillment provider, Gelato. Delivery times vary depending on your location and are estimated at checkout. While we strive to ensure timely delivery, actual transit times may be affected by customs processing or local service conditions.

International customers are solely responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, VAT, or other charges imposed by their local authorities. These fees are not included in our prices and may be collected at the time of delivery.

We are not liable for delays or losses caused by third-party couriers, customs clearance issues, or force majeure events.

7. Returns and Refunds

As our products are made-to-order and personalized, they are exempt from the EU right of withdrawal under Article 16(c) of the Consumer Rights Directive. We do not accept returns or cancellations once an order has been confirmed and sent to production.

If your item arrives damaged, misprinted, or defective, please contact us within 5 days of delivery, providing your order number and clear photographic evidence of the issue. We will review your claim and, if approved, offer a replacement or refund at our discretion.

Refunds for approved claims will be issued to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.

We do not offer refunds or replacements for issues arising from incorrect order details submitted by the customer (e.g., wrong shipping address, incorrect size or selection).

8. Intellectual Property

While many of the artworks featured on our site are in the public domain, the curated selection, digital restorations, metadata, product descriptions, and overall presentation are original works protected under copyright and intellectual property laws.

Additionally, all content on this website — including text, logos, branding, layouts, images, and graphics — is the exclusive property of The Alchemist Sanctuary and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used in any form without our prior written consent.

Unauthorized use of any intellectual property may result in legal action, including claims for damages and injunctive relief.

9. Prohibited Conduct

By using this website, you agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

• Use any automated systems (e.g., bots, crawlers, or scrapers) to access the website without our prior written consent.
