How can I frame my artwork?
Each artwork print is sold unframed, giving you complete freedom to find a frame that complements your space and style. We recommend exploring reclaimed or vintage frames, which pair beautifully with the artwork's timeless character while supporting sustainability. Visit antique shops, flea markets, or second-hand stores, and bring a measuring tape to find the perfect match for your chosen print size. By reusing existing materials, you help reduce waste and give new life to beautiful craftsmanship, turning the framing process into a creative and mindful experience.
The Curation, Restoration & Printing Journey
Each artwork in this collection has been printed, held, and reviewed not just on screen but in hand. Curated from thousands of historical archives, hundreds of artworks were restored digitally and will gradually be added to the collection, each evaluated for detail, tone, and emotional depth. After restoration, printing files were meticulously arranged, and a photo catalog was created to test print quality. Some artworks were magnificent but could not be printed, as they had not fully withstood the passage of time in their detail or quality. Others were chosen for their patina, texture, and character, preserving the beauty and legacy each piece carries.
After testing multiple fine art papers, the museum quality matte stock was chosen for its quiet depth and timeless texture. This paper supports the soul of these archival works: soft, aged, imperfect, and alive. Each piece has been printed in different enlargements and variations to ensure the artwork maintains its authenticity and resonance when brought to life in print.
There has been a deep commitment to honouring the legacy of these artworks, often several centuries old. Should a print ever fall short of expectation, please reach out; every effort is made to preserve the integrity and story each artwork represents.

Free Worldwide Shipping
The Alchemist Sanctuary offers free worldwide standard shipping. No express shipping is available, as we are trying to lower the carbon impact.
What is the production and delivery time?
Production time: 3–7 business days (typically 3–4).
Delivery estimates after production: EU/UK 3–7 · US/CA 5–10 · Rest of World 7–15 business days.
Where will my order be delivered?
Your order will be delivered by UPS, local postal services, or equivalent regional couriers to your nearest parcel shop or collection point. You will receive an email notification once your parcel is ready for collection, including tracking details and pickup instructions.
How will I know when my order is shipped?
Our global print partners will automatically send you an email notification with tracking details once your package is ready for shipment. You will receive the tracking number after dispatch, allowing you to follow your delivery in real time.
How is my order packaged and shipped?
Orders are securely packaged and shipped in either a recyclable cardboard box or a protective tube, depending on print size and regional fulfilment centre, using recycled materials where possible.
What should I do if my item arrives damaged?
If your order arrives visibly damaged, defective, or significantly misprinted, contact us within 14 calendar days of delivery. Include clear photographic evidence. Once verified, we will issue a full refund or send a replacement at no cost to you.
Can I cancel my order?
All prints are made to order and fulfilled by our global print partners. Cancellations must be made within 24 hours of placement and before production begins to be valid. To request a cancellation, email support@thealchemistsanctuary.com immediately with your order number. Once production has started, the order cannot be cancelled. This policy follows EU Directive 2011/83/EU Article 16(c) regarding made-to-order goods.
Sending Artwork as a Gift
To send a gift, enter the recipient's name and shipping address during checkout. If you uncheck 'Use shipping address as billing address,' you can add your own billing details separately. All confirmation and tracking emails will be sent to the buyer's email address for privacy and security.
Delivery Time for Gifts and Special Dates
If you need your package to arrive by a specific date, we strongly recommend ordering well in advance. External factors such as customs clearance, local carrier delays, cyber incidents, or severe weather can sometimes affect delivery schedules and are outside of our control.
Are there any potential delivery delays?
While we aim to meet these timelines, unforeseen circumstances such as customs inspections, local carrier delays, cyber incidents, extreme weather events, strikes, or regional disruptions may occasionally affect delivery schedules. These are conditions beyond our operational control, and while rare, they can impact fulfilment or transit times. We work closely with our partners to minimise any such delays and keep you informed whenever possible.
Are there any shipping restrictions?
We cannot ship to Belarus, Russia, North Korea, Iran, or Syria.
